ROOTS Village is a nonprofit organization created for individuals with disabilities of all ages, their families, and caregivers throughout the greater Prescott area.

At the heart of ROOTS is something simple: everyone deserves a place where they belong.

We are building a village where individuals and families can find connection, build friendships, discover resources, participate in inclusive community experiences, and meet people who understand. A place where you don't have to explain why your family looks a little different, why accommodations matter, or why simply finding somewhere you can comfortably show up can mean so much.

ROOTS is not a service or a program you have to qualify for. 

We are a community.

Through inclusive events, social opportunities, resource connections, outreach, advocacy, and community partnerships, we are creating more ways for individuals with disabilities and their families to connect with one another and with the community around them.

And when we say individuals with disabilities, we mean all ages. Children grow up. Needs change. Families change. But the need for friendship, connection, opportunity, support, and belonging doesn't disappear.

We want children to grow up knowing there is a community that welcomes them. We want teens and adults to have meaningful opportunities to connect and build friendships. We want parents, siblings, and caregivers to find people who understand their journey. And we want to bring our greater community alongside us—because true inclusion happens when everyone has a place at the table.
